Where Can I Serve?

Jesus told us, his disciples, to make disciples of all nations. One of the most important values of this church is our mission to the world. It begins in our own community, and spreads overseas to every nation. Church members are involved in a variety of ministries from things as simple as washing the church vehicles, to preparing the church bulletins.

All you need to do is complete a Ministry Matters profile and take the inventory. Please, make sure you save and forward us the results of the completed survey at [email protected]. Knowing what our spiritual gifts actually are and how to use them together as a team is essential for us to faithfully fulfill God’s mission. 

Community Outreach

Wildwood UMC is thrilled to be part of the spread of God’s kingdom around the world. We are active in the mission of God through our evangelistic approaches through Fresh Expressions, serving in local community outreach ministries, and supporting missions in our community. 

We encourage all of our people to respond to God’s call for laborers, to live out their faith and minister in our own community.

Music Ministries

God-honoring worship is something we strive for. Many church members get involved in our choir or praise band ministries. We are constantly seeking musicians, vocalists, or people who can lend a hand with assisting with audio equipment during Sundays. Join our volunteers and be part of this important area of the ministry of our church, using your talents and gifts to glorify God.

Media Ministry

Using media to spread the gospel is a privilege of this church. In an age of widespread technology, we have a stewardship to use these tools as best as possible for kingdom purposes. All of our weekly sermons are uploaded to our website in video and audio formats. We also maintain an active Facebook and Twitter feed for additional church communication. If you are particularly talented in graphic design or social media, we have a place for you to serve.

Office Volunteers

Our office volunteers assist in tasks that go from counting Sunday offerings once a week, to working on our weekly bulletin. People specially gifted in finances, administration, desktop publishing, or even filing are welcome to assist our office manager and other staff. Just drop by the office and ask where you can be of help.
