How to Join

Is God calling you to be a part of the ministry of this congregation?

There are a number of ways that you can become a member:

Profession of Faith:

If you have never been baptized, we invite you to join the church by becoming baptized and professing your faith. The United Methodist Church recognized the baptism of other Christian denominations.

Renewal of Membership Vows:

If you are baptized but do not have a church that is your home church, Wildwood UMC welcomes you with open arms. It may be many years since you were a member, or you joined a church as a child or youth, but have not been active in your adulthood. We invite you to renew your membership vows and join Wildwood UMC.

Transfer of Membership:

If you are a member of another United Methodist Church or another denomination and would like Wildwood UMC to be your church home. You are invited to join Wildwood UMC and we will notify your home church.

Affiliate Membership:

If you are a member of another United Methodist Church and would like to retain your membership there, but Wildwood UMC is where you are currently worshiping and participating, you are invited to join us as an affiliate member.

Associate Membership:

If you are a member of another denomination and would like to keep that denominational affiliation with a particular congregation, but Wildwood UMC is where you are worshiping and participating, you are invited to join as an associate member.
