Where Can I Serve?

Jesus told us, his disciples, to make disciples of all nations. Our engagement in mission begins in our own community, and spreads overseas to every nation. Church members are involved in a variety of ministries engaging with our community.

Community Engagement Ministries

At Wildwood UMC, we not only gather and grow through small groups, but also go out to serve in the community. We are connected with several ministries that reach out to those in need. We are always looking for more helping hands and caring hearts to extend Christ’s love. Click here to see our community engagement ministries.

Fresh Expressions

Wildwood UMC is focusing on forming faith communities especially for those who have never been involved in church (un-churched) or who have left the church (de-churched). In our commitment to make disciples, we have gone to the mission edges where new forms of church are flourishing in our community.

Still don’t know where you would be a best fit for our church?

We encourage you to take the APEST (Apostle, Prophet, Evangelist. Shepherd. Teacher): Five-Fold gift set assessment for free at http://fivefoldsurvey.com. In addition to this, you can take the Spiritual Gifts Survey at http://survey.ministrymatters.com/SpiritualGifts. All you need to do is complete a Ministry Matters profile and take the inventory. Please, make sure you save and forward us the results of the completed survey at office@wildwoodflumc.org. Knowing what our spiritual gifts actually are and how to use them together as a team is essential for us to faithfully fulfill God’s mission.
