How Do I Meet People?

Our church is not a place for spectators. It is a place for team members. Whether you are a five-year old child, a ninety-five year old grandmother, a busy mom, or a businessman with big responsibilities, we want you to be a part of our vibrant church community. Here is how you can Gather, Grow, Go out and sow at Wildwood United Methodist Church.

United Methodist Women

United Methodist Women is a supportive, inclusive Christian membership organization where women like you grow spiritually, develop as leaders and serve and work to create a world in which all women, children and youth thrive. Our local unit meets the first Tuesday of the month at 1 pm in the Dale Jaquette room.

Fresh Expressions

Wildwood UMC is focusing on forming faith communities especially for those who have never been involved in church (un-churched) or who have left the church (de-churched). In our commitment to make disciples, we have gone to the mission edges where new forms of church are flourishing in our community.

Children’s Ministry

Each Sunday morning, children ages 4 to 5th grade get to participate in their own classes. Bible lessons are taught in such a way that every child gets to participate and learn. Each of the class teachers is carefully screened and thoroughly trained in children’s instruction. We also meet on Wednesdays from 6:30 pm in the Fellowship Hall.

Outreach Ministries

At Wildwood UMC, we not only gather and grow through small groups, but also go out to serve in the community. We are connected with several ministries that reach out to those in need. We are always looking for more helping hands and caring hearts to extend Christ’s love. Click here to see our outreach ministries.

Youth Ministry

The youth ministry of our church is recognized for their meaningful interaction with kids. A program directed for students in grades 6th through 12th provides an engaging community of peers where spiritual and personal growth is possible.  We meet on Wednesdays from 6:30 pm in the Fellowship Hall.

Celebrate Recovery

Have any habits, hurts, or hangups in your life? Join us every Wednesday for Celebrate Recovery, a Christ centered recovery program. We gather for dinner at 6:30 p, and begin at 7 pm. Childcare and special youth meetings are available on campus.
